Dear parents/ carers and students,
I hope you are getting a chance to enjoy the sunshine in a safe and relaxing way. I miss seeing all the friendly and talented children of Room.8! They are a credit to their families.
Also hope you are doing okay under the current circumstances, where every household has increasing challenges. Undoubtedly, you did not envisage your home becoming a daily type of mini-school! I am here to help, so please do not hesitate to contact me via the comments section. Due to GDPR considerations, parents are now being asked to communicate with teachers mainly through the comments section.

Due to my current living arrangements, access to a slow internet connection has been an obstacle in posting. However.... it has improved :)
I will continue to post suggested work, along with some websites for distance learning. Nevertheless, there is no pressure on students to view or complete same. Obviously it will help to maintain a sense of routine, revise previous work and continue new learning. If a student is able to participate in a suggested topic, the timeframe for completion is at parental discretion. I appreciate that everyone is busy, and teachers are grateful to parents/carers for facilitating any type of distance learning.
