2. Meet Scotty Bear! 🐻

Welcome back Room.8 and well done for all the hard work with online learning.
I hope you enjoy the first video 'Story time with Teacher'. I will be reading the story 'Elmer and the Lost Teddy'. My old teddy, Scotty, also drops in for a chat!!! He's a funny bear....check it out.

Teacher is excited because she got a new home laptop! My last one couldn't keep up with online teaching. Anyway, I'm having fun on the new one and discovering different things each day. Check out the second video 'Tricky Words Dictation' and a message for you all off my new gadget. That is where I show off my new stylus pen.😁
My new e-mail address is: ms.dolan@olvinfants.com
I look forward to hearing from you via e-mail and/or via the blog comment section.

Elmer and The Lost Teddy

 (Written by David McKee)

Tricky Words Dictation (Week.2)

This week's tricky words are taken from blog post March 26th (Yellow Level). Last week's blog post (April 26th) covered Red Level dictation and instruction details. The only change this week is that I call out a sentence at the end and the children have to write it. I have attached the tricky word sheet again. Next week's dictation will be taken from the first ten words in the Green Level.

Trouble with Print Handwriting?

If print letter formation is still a struggle, try the below pictures during practice. These are called formation visuals and mnemonics (auditory or visual aid to help remember something). I have attached another set of pattern worksheets. Look back on my previous posts for practice sheets and more advice.

That's brilliant Kai! Scotty Bear says hi and thinks you're FAB.U.LOUS ( just like he says it in the video!).
