Gather all your coins and let's get sorting! Sort your coins into different piles according to their worth. Then make money towers! Happy sorting and building money towers :)
Listen to what happens next in the story: The whale brought the snail to many different places around the world.
Where is your favourite place in the whole wide world? Tell me all about your favourite place! You can tell me all about it in whatever way you like! You can record a video, voice note, write, draw or take pictures of it if it's somewhere close to home! Enjoy :) Today, you'll need: 1. coins 2. paper 3. crayon There are 8 coins that we use in Ireland: 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, €1 and €2. See if you can find all 8 coins in your house and perform the following magic trick. 1. Place coin/coins under white paper. 2. Using your crayon, rub gently over your page until your coin magically appears on your page. (Sometimes it works better if you turn your crayon sideways). 3. When you get the hang of it, see if you can make a picture with your rubbings: you could make a pattern, a flower, anything you'd like! Enjoy :) Ms. Hiney Sit back, relax and enjoy the story: Draw what you think happens next in the story :)
As always, I love to hear your news boys and girls! You can write, draw, video or record a voice note to tell me all your news from the weekend. It's completely up to you! Here's what I got up to at the weekend: You are amazing boys and girls! Keep up the brilliant work :) Ariana's favourite toy: Listen to the following story: Activity One: Draw the desert island treasure map. Put and X to mark where the treasure is hidden. Here are a few examples to help you design your map: Activity Two: Listen to what happened next. Then draw and/or write what you did with all your money!
Just a quick reminder boys and girls to send your videos to me for the talent show! As mentioned in the email on Monday, it can be anything your child wants to do! If you haven't already recorded it and sent it in perhaps you'll get a chance to do it today :)
It'll be so lovely to have everyone involved and reunite the class through their amazing talents :) If you've any questions/queries I'd be more than happy to help :) Go Raibh Míle, Ms. Hiney |
