It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We have had so much fun preparing for Christmas in Room 1 over the last few weeks. Look at some of our wonderful work!

The elves were very busy in our class too making and fixing presents and also sending emails and taking phonecalls for Santa Claus!

Some of the boys and girls made toys using mobilo and big blocks-

Magic School!

Last month, our theme was School and we completed lovely activities in relation to school. Our Aistear areas were all linked to the them also. Our socio-dramatic area was Magic School and was very popular amongst the boys and girls. Look at some of the interesting characters who attended Magic School.

We also had another area called The Secretary's Office where the children were very busy answering and making calls to parents and sending and receiving emails!

Before Aistear, the children are asked to draw/tell what they are going to do in Aistear on that particular day. Look at some samples of their lovely work in their copies.
