Sese

I thought for today it might be nice to go out and get some fresh air on your one walk a day or in the garden. While you are out maybe you might spot some of these items. I have given you three samples of a nature walk/scavenger hunt, pick your favourite. 🦋🐝🌿🌳💐🌺🍄🌞🌻

English

Practise your reading and comprehension skills with your parents, read the passage below and see can you answer the questions.

Now time for some grammar, remember all the work we have done on Capital Letters in class, now it’s time to put that to practise. Read the sentence below and circle where the capital letters should go, then write the sentences correctly.

Aistear Junk Art

This might be a project you would like to do over Easter, it requires colours and recyclable materials like cereal boxes and toilet rolls. I saw a few ideas for these on Instagram and Pinterest. Feel free to incorporate your own ideas as well. I can’t wait to see the small world or mini villages you might make. 😊🏠🏥🏘🏦

Easter

As it is the Easter holidays and there will be no formal school, this might be a great time to practice some life skills. Teach your kids how to tie their laces, work on reading the clock, plant some seeds and do some gardening learn to knit, experiment with cooking or baking. Maybe they could practise writing letters to loved ones they cannot see like their grandparents or it might simply be rediscover the joys of reading. Set a reading challenge how many books can you read (this is one I for sure am going to do).
The most important thing to do is to enjoy your time together, without any stress of school. If you need anything from me at all just let me know.
Happy Easter everybody! 😄🐣💐
