Art

You may have been wondering what exactly the art was that the children created last week. We began by looking at a piece of work called 'Fall' by Bridget Riley. The children looked at the picture and we discussed what it reminded us of: waterfall, river, waves and hair were only some of the suggestions from the class. It is amazing what you can create just with simple lines.

The class then created their own version and explored using chalk and black paper to come up with their masterpieces.

Look Back at Halloween

Hi everyone! I know Halloween is long over but I have some lovely pictures and videos taken from the last day of school before the mid-term so I had to share them. Very sorry for the delay. Hope you enjoy!!!

For the Halloween parade the children learned two songs: one in English and one in Irish. Take a look at them practising them in the classroom before heading to the hall for the parade.
