Good morning, and happy Friday!
To tie in with our theme of occupations we're going to have a look at the book Farmer Duck. Enjoy the video below.

Farmer Duck

Character

Let's have a quick look at some of the different characters you could have in a story.

Draw your own character

You can draw someone from the story or think of your own character. Have some fun with it. Don't forget to try and add three labels.
* Here's some ideas of characters below or anyone from our occupations would be a character too.

Phonics Practice

We have done loads of practice this week. So you don't need to do this today (or at all), but I know some of the class really love their sounds. If you want a little extra practice before the weekend have a look below!

Maths

It's Friday! We try to do extra fun things on Friday in school. So today for our maths warm up I have linked a video of number blocks! This is one of our favourite things to watch in school when we're stuck in at break time!

*It's quite long so don't need to watch all of it. Nice counting at beginning of the video.

Money - Shop

Set yourself up a very simple shop. You can sell anything: toys, books or cutlery (anything you can find around the house) . Price the items from around 1c to 6c. Go to the shop and buy some things. Can you make the correct amount?

Eadaí:
We are going to over some of the new words and then look at a little story of Teidí wearing different clothes. Can you repeat the phrases?

Have a lovely weekend! I'll see you all next week :)

Hi Girls and Boys
Have a lovely weekend! Try to ask your Mammy/Daddy/minder to post a comment to Ms Sweeney. Isn't she great! Wash your hands everyone, many times a day! Until Monday, take care. Ms Mc Donnell
