Word Practice


​Dictation

Those brains should be all warmed up so we're going to do some dictation.
* Have your whiteboard ready with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
* Listen to the sounds and write what you hear (by yourself)

Read Aloud

We were learning all about clothes (eadaí) last week in our Gaeilge lessons. Have a listen to the story below The Smartest Giant in Town ​and see if you can identify all the pieces of clothes in English and as Gaeilge if you can too!
George is such a kind giant! He practices all of our kindness rules that we have in OLV. I hope that we are remembering to be kind at home with:
Kind Hands
Kind Feet
Kind Words and
Kind Hearts
If you would like to you could draw a picture of George or you could draw a picture of you doing something kind at home!

* Watch the video below. Practice on whiteboards, and in handwriting copy
** If you have the facility to print you could print the following pages and give them a go.
***If you are not able to print. You (Mammy/ Daddy/ minder) could draw out a big rainbow letter on one side and you could practice your pencil work on the back.
