    50th Anniversary

Our integrated learning theme for the month of November was "School". OLV was 50 years old. We learnt lots about our school for example: people who work in our school, the different areas in our school e.g. the yard, the library, secretary's office etc. and how school has changed in 50 years. We read lots of books and our favourite was "Bobbo Goes to School" by Shirley Hughes. Here are some pictures and videos of us practicing all we learnt!

Big News in Room 4! An ELF has arrived!!

At the beginning of December Santa sent an elf to room 4. We called her Twinkle Toes! She told us that Santa sent her to keep an eye on us. Every night she flies back to the North Pole. She reports back to Santa every night and tells him how good we have been and what we have been learning. She surprises us every morning and we find her in a different place. She leaves us letters from herself and Santa. We can't ever touch her or her magic will go. We are being super good in room 4 and are practicing very hard for our Christmas Play: "Santas Workshop. Teacher is so proud of us and Twinkle Toes is very impressed!

    Santas Workshop

We are learning lots about Christmas this month. To reinforce all the vocabulary and interesting facts we have learnt, Santas Workshop came to room 4. We are extremely excited!! We have had great fun acting as Santa, reindeer and elves in the socio-dramatic area. Take a look!

Our Christmas Show - "Santas Workshop"

We had so much fun in room 4 practicing for our Christmas Show. We were amazing! Watch a short clip below:
