Hi all!
As you know, we have a 'Mind your Mind' display in Room.8. The children are used to discussing and naming their feelings by referring to the 'Mood Monsters' on the board. Please see below, along with some other activities for when children are feeling worried. They may be useful at home.

I hope everyone is getting a chance to exercise. We love using the below websites in class. (Also added Joe Wicks P.E. link.) Please click on each box to direct you to the relevant website.

Superhero Art

There are lots of superheroes in our families and in the community. Currently, they are helping us to stay safe, happy and healthy. Perhaps you could make them a thank you card, give them your mindfulness art, or tell them how fantastic they really are! Check out the superhero mindfulness pictures below.

Hi Bozena,

Thanks for your comment. I have just received it, as sometimes there is a delay in receiving comments if the website gets a lot at once!

Hope you had a nice Easter break and happy to know that the activities have been useful. Tell Alan that I said well done! I look forward to being back to school and seeing you all eventually.

Keep in touch with all the news.

Hi Miss Dolan,
I hope you are well and all healthy. Its just pure madness. As long as we all get through healthy.
Its very hard for me to teach 2 students same time, but im trying my best .He is very good with writing the numbers in his notes, but letters is still not really good.
I was really surprise how he knows the letters. He do accounting, but only with fingers.
I wish you have a good Easter its will be different for all us.
Kindly regards
Dovile Komkaite Matas mummy x

Hi Dovile,

Thanks for your message. Keep up the good work that you are doing at home. Well done to Matas too!
I have put different activities on the blog regarding letter and number writing, so Matas will continue to make progress if he practises those basics regularly.
They don't need to be printed. An adult can copy most activities from the screen onto a page and then the child can follow the adult's writing.

Stay in touch-always nice to know how students are getting on.
Happy Easter to you and family xx
