This story has a really important message. Watch the following version of the story The Hare and the Tortoise and see if you can figure out this important message!

Discuss and answer the following questions: 
1. Who were the two main characters in the story? 
2. What three words would you use to describe the hare?  
3. Who did you think was going to win the race at the beginning of the story? Why did you think that? 
4. What was your favourite part of the story? 
5. Why was it your favourite part of the story?


Complete the following: 
Draw your favourite part of the story and write a sentence to describe your picture! Use your best cursive writing today!

Don't forget: 
1. Capital letters at the start of every sentence. 
2. Full stop at the end of every sentence. 
3. Finger spaces between each word :) 
4. Title of the story at the top of the page.
