Good Morning boys and girls and happy Friday! You've almost made it to your first full week of school work at home so a very big well done to you! I am so proud of you all. Please spread the word, if you have contact details of friends in room 2, give them a message or phone call to let them know about the blog. Now, let's get cracking into today's work!

Maths:
  1. Youtube video
  2. Watch my addition video and collect some materials (preferably 1c coins too) to help you practice adding numbers and 1c coins between 1 and 5. I am trying to express to the children that each 1c coin has the value of the number 1 they are used to working with.
English: **Tip: press the arrow to make the videos bigger**
  1. Reader, word lists, tricky words (back of sound book)
  2. Blending work - first, oral practice with me (see video below) and then some independent work on your page from your folder (see also below)
  3. Handwriting - p practice page
Gaeilge:
Spraoi - Ceapaim to bhfuil an t-amhráin sin ar eolas agat!
         - I think this song as Gaeilge might be familiar to you!
That’s it for today boys and girls I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I’ll hopefully see you all back here on Monday again. I’m going to put up another couple of videos from our GAA coach Gerry, if you’d like some outdoor activities for the weekend that you can do in your garden. These are really good ones you can get your family at home involved in! Stay safe,
Ms. O’Shea X
