English:
- Sounds, word lists, reader, tricky words.
- Blending (see video 1 below)
- Handwriting - again, you will not have a printed practice page. Parents may draw up their own version of a practice page similar to previous ones, or simply practice writing the letter on a blank page, white board or copy. The main thing is that they are practicing the formation of the letter!
- Writing Workshop:
- Mini - lesson (see video 2 below)
- Independent writing (child engages in their own work)
- Shared session - child shares what they have drawn and written to a family member. **Idea**: you can record them explaining their picture - they love watching themselves back and also it invites to child to self-assess.
- Counting practice - stamping 1-20, snapping backwards 10-1.
- Days of the week - yesterday, today, tomorrow
- Role play - I have taken a page from the children's Maths book below. It is not necessary to print this out and complete, but to try engage in some sort of role play activity - where the children will try and buy the items and figure out what coins they need.
- Written work - pg 113 from work pack. You may have a little practice first adding some of your toys, coins, spoons etc.!
