Our theme in March was People Who Help Us/My Community. It was a really interesting topic and led us to explore different occupations in great detail. The hospital was our socio-dramatic area and we had lots of very helpful doctors and nurses in our class who treated their patients very well!
We also discussed what the boys and girls would like to be when they are older. I think it is so important to encourage the boys and girls that they can be whatever they want to be when they are older if they work hard enough in school and put their mind to it. In the wise words of Walt Disney:
Check out a sample of the children's work and the boys and girls having a great time during Aistear last month.
