Literacy

Ms Stokes and Ms Brooks who come in to us on a Monday afternoon have added some lovely work for our next topic, animals, on the junior infant parent's page. Have a look here: http://www.olvinfants.com/junior-infants-parents-page.html

Word Practice

I was beginning to forget about the pack I sent home. If you have finished it all already...Fantastic! If you haven't I've just gone through the last few worksheets below. Give them go at some stage if you haven't already.
We love alphablocks in Room 1! It's Friday and coming up to the Easter break, so enjoy this Easter special below!

Art - Drawing

We usually do art on a Friday to relax after a hard week. Below I have added some YouTube clips of some Easter drawings. If you like you could give them a go!
I'm gonna give it a try and I'll add my picture/ video a little later! So send me your drawings if you give it a go.
*Remember have some fun and just try your best! Everyone's will look different, that's part of the fun!

Maths

Let's start with some counting!
We are going to do some ordering. Make the numbers 1-10 on a piece of paper at home, get a grown up to help you.
Here is what you can do with your numbers:
  • Order the numbers
  • Mix them up order them again
  • Count from 1- 10
  • Count from 10-1
  • Can you identify each number. Show me 8, 5, 3
  • What number comes after?
  • What number comes before?
  • What number is missing?
  • Make sets to 10

Gaeilge

We will be continuing with Cinnín óir. I will have it up a little later so check back in!
