During November we got to pretend we were the teachers and students. We had to do what the teacher said. At other stations we played with small world, built some buildings like school, cut and lots of other things. Here are some pictures of us

September
We spent the month of September settling into our new school environment, learning all about ourselves and getting to know each other. We spent September learning all about Little Red Riding Hood. By the end of the month, the children were very familiar with the story and they re-enacted a scene from the story of the Big Bad Wolf disguised as Grandma. Check out some videos of the children performing this scene below:
As part of the literacy programme in Our Lady of Victories Infant School, junior infant classes receive thirty minutes per week of in-class team teaching. Ms. Brooks and Ms. Stanley come into our class every Monday afternoon and have been teaching us all about our body parts through poems, songs, stories and games. The children really enjoyed the poem that they taught us - check us out on the video below! In Maths, we have been learning the days of the week, colours, the differences between day and night and ways in which we can sort materials by colour, shape and size. We learned a new song to help us to remember the days of the week - check out some videos below.
