We have been learning some new Irish words; puimcín, púca, cnónna, fáinne óir, cnámharlach, cailleach, vaimpír, zombaí, milseán & tinte ealaíne.
We went orienteering in the yard to find our Halloween characters. We used some of our new Irish words but mostly we ran very fast and had lots of fun! We sorted them by colour. We labelled the parts of our rainbow (red, orange, green..) and stuck the fabric down. Our beautiful rainbow...  We looked at the abstract art of Wassily Kandinsky. He liked to use colours and shapes to create a feeling. We made our very own paintings based on Kandinsky's 'Squares with Concentric Circles'. The result... |
