Pond dipping

Mairead collected trays of water from the pond. The pond is home to a lot of interesting creatures. We saw small tadpoles and big tadpoles with legs! We saw snails and red worms. We saw a boatman insect. The boatman has legs that work like oars!

Red Mountain Farm

We went on a tractor train. The tractor pulled us along. It zig-zagged around the farm.

We pedalled the tractors around the track.

There were PUPPIES!!! We got to hold them and pet them. They were so cute. Their names were PJ and Prince.

We went on a farm walk. We saw goats, sheep, cows, ducks, ponies, geese, donkeys and hens. We fed some of the animals grass.

We had so much fun!
