A lovely calm peaceful classroom while the children made their versions of Piet Mondrian's art work, They learned how to draw all the lines themselves using rulers and then painted the squares and rectangles that they wanted to create their own painting. Each one individual which is what Art is all about!!

Hi parents
Just wanted to update you on our Aistear play topic this month. We are roleplaying in the supermarket and having lots of fun making shopping lists, buying food and paying for the items too. In the other Aistear areas we are using Playdo to make food items as well as using our small world community figures to develop our knowledge of people who work in the community. We have made collages with food pictures and in the week that is coming now we are going to use fruit and vegetables to do printing with paint. All very exciting and enjoyable. Here are some photos of us playing during Aistear time.
