Easter in the past

I asked my Dad what Easter was like when he was a child. He told me about how they would go to the ring fort up on the hill near their house. All of their neighbours would meet there on Easter Sunday. They would make a bonfire and boil some eggs. Back then a boiled egg was a special Easter treat. They ate boiled eggs and played together.
I wonder what special things your family did for Easter in the past? Why don't you call someone older in your family and ask them all about it?

Language lessons

Ms. Brooks and Ms. Stokes have added lots of lovely language lessons to our website at this link:   http://www.olvinfants.com/junior-infants-parents-page.html
The theme is domestic animals and there are lots of fun games and tasks that you can do from home.

Easter Parents Pack

Here are a few ideas you might like to look at over the Easter.
In our classroom we like to use...
- YouTube: Numberblocks (counting/combining), Alphablocks (phonics), Art for kids hub (guided drawing)
- GoNoodle: Exercise, Dance, Mindfulness
There are lots of lovely ideas in this file...
