Hello boys and girls
I hope you are all doing ok. Did you manage to make your hundred square? If you did you can use it to make sums each day for yourself.
pick a starting nunber (or roll two dice like we do in class and choose which 2 digit number you want to use) say 34 and add 10 or 20 or 30 to it by jumping downwards on your square. So 34 add 20 is two jumos of ten which lands us on 54.
You can do take away too by jumping up 10 or 20 or 30 on your square.
If you want to challenge yourself add on a number that has tens and units like we started to do in our lessons. So 38 add on 25 means starting at 38 jumping down 2 tens then adding 5 units.
Write your sums down I will love seeing them when we are back together.
Take care
Mrs Farrelly
