I was so happy to get to talk to quite a number of parents (and even some of my boys and girls - thank you Maci, Elizabeth and Cian for saying hello) and it seems like everyone is making a super job of doing not just school work at home but a wide range of other wonderful activities. Parents you should be very proud of yourselves keeping up with your own work. the kids school work and ensuring the kids are calm, happy and healthy. I was thrilled to hear that parents are looking for support in doing Irish lessons so I hope the videos from me on this week's timetable will help with new vocabulary on appliances and furniture in the kitchen. I mentioned Seidean Si website to a few parents too which has lovely simple stories and easy to do activities. When you log on pick the An Mumhan dialect from drop down menu and then choose Naoinán Mhóra and select the story you want. If you want a challenge choose Rang 1.
I will speak to the remaining parents tomorrow I hope. This image should also help with the Gaeilge task on Friday. Maybe you could use your Irish words for things in the kitchen to practice.
Oscail/Dún an cuisneoir - open/close the fridge
Cuir éadaí san inneall níochán - put clothes in the washing machine
Cuir do cupán ar an doirteal - Put your cup on the sink

Hi Ms Farelly, hope you're keeping well. Thank you for the Irish words. Maaya has been asking if I have Irish homework for her and I have to admit I'm not very good at pronunciations so these are very helpful. We will look up the Irish websites and the blog as well. Many thanks as always and we hope to see you soon.
