I would love to hear if you have any news from the last couple of days! Things are a lot quieter here in Mayo than in the big Smoke!! Have a read of what I have doing over the last couple of days: This is a picture I took on Friday when I was at the beach. This is Enniscrone beach which is in County Sligo. It is about 25 minutes away from my house by car. I was lucky I got to go there as when I came back from the beach the lockdown was announced! The building that looks like a castle is a building people used to use for seaweed baths! This is where the bath is filled with hot seawater and seaweed! It is meant to be really good for your skin! I would love to hear what you have all been up to over the last few days! Draw a picture of your news and write a sentence(s) to tell me your news!
Looking forward to hearing how you all have been keeping. Hope you are all safe, happy and well. Fiona Hiney x Good morning! Please read the following Spring poem and answer the questions below: 1. What months are in Spring? 2. What signs of Spring are mentioned in the poem? 3. Can you name any flowers that you see in Spring? 4. What happens the weather in Spring? Look at the following Spring flowers: Complete the following: 1. Match the names of the flowers to the correct picture above. Daisy, Daffodil, Tulip, Bluebell (1-4). 2. Design your own Spring garden! Include the above flowers and any other signs of Spring that you can think of. For example- what do trees look like in Spring? What is the weather like in Spring? Label your picture. If your garden has any other features like a water fountain, swings, benches, statues, fairy doors etc. please include them! Here is some garden inspiration: ![]() Happy Tuesday :) Here's Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EhiBKlPLt4 Enjoy :) Ms. Hiney You did such an amazing job following each step to draw your funky monkey's last week- I was super impressed! This week, let's draw the Easter Bunny! Follow each step carefully- can't wait to see these! Step 1: Draw a circle for the Easter bunny's face. Step 2: Draw his face. Use two circles for his eyes, a love heart for his nose, lines for his whiskers and two lines with a hook at the end for his mouth. Step 3: Draw an oval shape for one of his ears. Step 4: For his other ear first draw the line below. It looks a little bit like the number 9! Then draw a line up to meet it like in the pictures below. Step 5: Draw two semi-circles at the bottom of the page for his feet. Step 6: Using round shapes, draw his belly and two arms. Step 7: Give your bunny a fluffy tail and decorate him any way you want! I added a bow and stripes to his ears! Step 8: Colour your bunny in and send it on :)
