Today was our dress up day for Halloween. We had loads of fun playing games and dancing in our classroom today!! We also had a Halloween parade in the hall and performed our Halloweens songs/poems!

We were so lucky to have some of our parents come in and read some spooky stories to us with lots of props!!!!!

The teachers also got in on the fun and dressed up too! It was a brilliant day. I hope you all enjoy the mid-term break!

Today we got to help teacher carve the pumpkin, we got to scoop out all the gooey bits and seeds from the centre!! It was yucky, gross and fun!

Today we put all our skills together to help Ms. Fallon make a potion!!!

We had such an exciting day in school today!!! We started learning how to make potions. First we came in to class and started adding ingredients into our own potion bottles while listening to some spooky music!!! :)

Next we started making a potion as a class. Teacher had the table ready with all the ingredients we would need. There was a lot of gross ingredients like worms, dragon blood and spiders. YUCK!!! We made sure to use our Bossy Verbs to help us (mix, add, pour, stir, sprinkle). We had so much fun being witches and wizards today. Once the potion was complete we wrote the procedure for how to make our own potions!!!

Well Halloween has well and truly arrived as our classroom got a spooky makeover!!!

We also did some amazing poetry writing with the help of Ms. Fallon and Ms. Cronin. We have been practicing our Witch Witch poem for the Halloween parade so we decided we would write a second verse this time with our character from Room on the Broom 'Dragon'. We hope you have as much fun reading it as we did writing it.
