Numeracy

Sorry for the videos being up so late! I was having a little issue with uploading my videos.

Let's start off our maths with a little bit of counting! Stand up and find a little bit of space!

Monster Steps!

Maths Songs

We love doing our maths songs with Ms. Brooks! Can you join in with the two songs that I have linked below.

Five Little Peas

Five Little Speckled Frogs

I love this one where the frogs jump into the water and chill out on the sun loungers! :)

Patterns

We are going to do some patterns today. Find some different coloured items from around the house. If you have lego or crayons they would work perfectly. We are going to make patterns with 2 and 3 colours. Have a little look at me making some patterns below and then give it a go at home yourself. Send me some pictures of the patterns that you make.
If you have a few more minutes to spare. Try drawing out some patterns at home. These are like the pattern scarves we made in school.
You need a blank piece of paper and a pencil to draw out some lines with boxes, get an adult to help you draw the outline and you can colour it in with your patterns. It should look something like this....

My pattern scarves! Make any patterns you like!
All finished!

Hello Ms Mc Sweeney and all your lovely boys and girls. I know you are missing your class and teacher! I love popping into Room 1 when you have your 'sos beag' ..little break in the morning. There is always such a buzz in your room...lively comments and great humour! Ms Mc Sweeney popped into school because it's so near for her and we had to talk two metres apart! How strange! I can't wait for Room 1 to return to school. You are all wonderful!
