Note to Parents

Thank you all for your continued work at home. This week we will be revising over sounds. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I will be asking you to complete a little task and send it to me. This is just to help me know how everyone is getting on at home and allows me to tailor the work to the children's needs better. Thanks so much!

Phonics

I would like you to watch the video below and record how your child gets on. I will be asking them some sounds, to read some words and to write the sounds and words by themselves.

Email me how they got on with:
  • recognising sounds
  • reading words
  • dictation: send me a picture
*(I won't be sharing these pictures on the website, they are for my records only)
Ideas of how to record work
For practice or if you want to do the sounds and reading by yourself. I have added the sounds and words in order.

Handwriting Practice

We are going to focus on 2 letters today: e and l
  • Practice on the whiteboards
  • Practice with pencil and paper (in copy if you like)

Reader

I will put up 2 readers each week (2 red and 2 yellow). If you would like more let me know.
