I hope you all enjoyed the nice long weekend. It's the beginning of a new week and a new month! I can't believe it's June already!

English

  • Phonics: revision task group 5
  • Handwriting: letters i, j, t
  • Reader: new red and yellow (choose most appropriate level)

Phonics

  • Say the sounds
  • Read the words
  • Dictation: have space for 6 letter and 6 words
  • *Send me on how your child did
I will include a picture of the sounds and words to read underneath for practice.

Handwriting

  • Practice writing the letters i, j, and t on the whiteboard
  • Practice writing letters with pencil in the book
When working on a letter page in the handwriting book. It is not necessary to complete both pages. It is more important that your child focuses on the letter and tries their best. 2 pages is a lot of work to do in one go and won't produce the quality handwriting that we are looking for. I would suggest completing 1 page at the most and less if you think that is more suitable.
