Important Video for Parents explaining the Weekly Blog
Please watch the video below to explain the new weekly layout. This is to help you plan your week and allow free choice of what to do each week. Some days the children will want to do lots of work and other days not so much, this is normal and to be expected at this stage of school at home. Don’t worry if some days you get very little done! I hope seeing in advance the whole weeks layout will allow you to pick and choose what suits you best. If you have any questions ask in the comments below or send me an email to [email protected]
Let’s celebrate with Zoe!!

Dictation
Below you find all the videos for dictation for this week, as I said last week this is a different type of dictation because it is the last part of dictation for the class in Senior Infants. Each day there are 12 words now in class we used to complete 10 words a day but online we have only completed 5, so the choice is yours. You can choose to do 6 words each day and continue dictation to next week, or do all 12 or do 6 in morning and 6 in the afternoon. The decision is yours!! Well done everybody in competing Dictation in Senior Infants.

For handwriting this week I would like the children to focus on the revision pages. I have posted the video from last week again to remind you which pages I am talking about. I would recommend doing two short handwriting lessons a week max 15mins per lesson. A lot of the children will be able to complete 2 pages during this time.

One of the days this week make sure to check out the Maths Support Section in the Additional Support page, I’m delighted to see some Room 10 names on the leader board!!
For Maths this week I have recorded two videos for you for revision and I would like you to you to complete some pages in your maths book. Pick which ones you would like to do.
