The Aistear Framework is all about Learning through Play. The children work with a topic ie. ‘The Home’ which is our current topic, and use this to come up with creative ideas and lead their own learning.
Look at all this fun learning!
- Role play area: The children pretended to be family members and played a simple game of house.
- Construction: The children built houses, apartments, furniture, gardens etc.
- Small World: The children played with a dolls house and some miniature figures and furniture
- Creative area: the children used paper, glue, colours and other arts and craft materials to make various homes we learned about.
