Some other examples of fine motor activities include:
- Using play dough (maybe you could use real dough and bake something!)
- Using pegs (Clothes)
- Joining paper clips
- Colouring/drawing
- Ripping paper
- Picking up small items
Fine Motor activities are excellent for hand strength and makes sure that we are ready for writing when the time comes!

We love a good boogie to give ourselves a brain break! 🕺 Say hello if you’re watching! The Aistear Framework is all about Learning through Play. The children work with a topic ie. ‘The Home’ which is our current topic, and use this to come up with creative ideas and lead their own learning.
Look at all this fun learning! What wonderful weather we had this week! We loved bringing our classroom outside when we had the chance!
