.
Good morning boys and girls, today will be our last day of school for a couple of weeks, as we have our Easter holidays! I do not expect you to continue working over the break, but you may wish to engage in story books, art/drawing activities etc.! I have planned a little work for us today, together with some fun Easter activities!
English:
  1. Dictation 1-5 today. Same as usual, listen carefully and write what you hear. The words I want you to try and write yourself are:
  • it
  • in
  • bat
  • bed
  • van
   2.  Handwriting revision: Parents: See below an idea I made that you could copy for practicing those letters. Children may wish to give it an Easter theme!
   3.   Alpha blocks Easter Special - see youtube below. This could be an idea alternatively for over the Easter break if you wish. Alphablocks is a SUPER watch and is so easily available on youtube with lots of episodes. It is also in a Maths version called Number blocks.

Maths:
  1. Five little bunnies! See video below
  2. Easter missing numbers activity - just the first page below. If you do not have access to a printer don't worry, You may wish to draw up a version of it yourself.
Easter drawing:
I have chosen this one that I think would be very fun to do maybe with a adult's help! But there are plenty more easter ones to choose from that you might want to tackle all by yourself! Art hub for kids is on youtube and might be another idea for you to keep busy on your holidays. I hope you all have a lovely break everybody. I know it might feel very boring and trust me I am feeling that too, but we must stay at home for a little longer to keep everyone safe. I look forward to chatting to you all soon,
Ms O'Shea x
