We are really enjoying becoming great writers! During writing workshop, we do a quick mini lesson and help teacher with her writing. We then go off and do our ownindependent writing, before our share session at the end. We share what we have done with a friend and some children get to sit on the Share Chair and share with the whole class!! We love that part.
(The children are aware and are so proud of the progress they are making in writing. It’s lovely to see them recognising and reading back on what they have written - it shows them that what they have written makes sense, that they are writing just like you would see writing in a book).
